Robert Marchant ha been fishing territory waterways since 1982. Darwin Harbour Fishing Charters were commenced in 1993 and run-off Barramundi charters in 1997. Robert has been the President of the NTGFIA (NT Guided Fishing Industry Association) for 5 years.

2012 is in full swing and we are looking forward to a lot of fishing action this run off and following months.

Shady Camp Run-off

Spend 3 or 4 days fishing the run-off within the Mary River System at Shady Camp.  The ultimate fishing adventure fishing the tidal reaches and floodplains of Sampan and Tommee Cut for Barramundi and Salmon.

Shady Camp/Corroboree Billabong Combination

This charter of 4 or 5 days duration provides the opportunity to fish the runoff on the saltwater at Shady Camp and in the flooded fresh waterways of Shady Camp and Corroboree Billabongs for Barramundi.

Shady Camp/Bynoe Harbour combo

this charter is 5 days in length.  Experience the runoff in two locations.  Shady Camp on the east of Darwin provides great saltwater Barramundi action on the flooded waterways of the Mary River System.  Additionally travel to Bynoe Harbour on the west of Darwin and fish the estuaries and deep water of this magnificent harbour for Barramundi, queenfish, trevally and jewfish.

Bynoe Harbour All Round Experience

This charter is of 4 days duration.  Bynoe Harbour is the sister harbour to Darwin and features excellent opportunities for the tropical sports fishing experience.  The tides for this charter have been chosen in order to maximize the variety of fishing species targeted thus enhancing your chances to capture the fish of a lifetime.  From pelagic and reef fishing action to estuary and mud crabbing opportunities. Accommodation is at the Crab Claw Island Lodge located right on the waters edge of this magnificent harbour.  Recently the harbour was closed to professional fishing and this will result in fantastic growth and development of fish species in the region.

Bynoe Harbour Experience

This charter is 3 days in length.  Explore this absolute wonderland located 50km by sea from Darwin. Recently professional fishing has ceased and as a result this harbour is a mecca for fishing in the Darwin Region.  Crab Claw Island is your location for accommodation situated on one of the many estuaries within this great harbour.  Many varieties of saltwater sportfishing is at your fingertips.

Tour Conditions:
Travel Insurance - We recommend that travel insurance be taken to cover against cancellation fees, loss of /or damage to property and costs arising from illness or acts of god.

Tours require a minimum of 4 passengers to operate and in some cases where only 4 are booked on tour an alternative may be offered or a smaller vehicle used to conduct the tour.

Marchant Enterprises P/L reserves the right to cancel or alter tour itineraries as deemed necessary. It may be necessary to cancel a scheduled departure in which case and alternative date, tour or full refund offered. Marchant Enterprises P/L gives no guarantee as to exact departure and arrival times as circumstances beyond our control may influence this. Tours may be amended due to weather and road conditions.
